Maybelle Clark Matching Grant in Support of
Frontline Caregivers & Essential Workers
Now, more than ever, our frontline caregivers and essential workers are experiencing compassion fatigue and burnout. Since the start of the pandemic, this crisis has reached critical levels. We are pleased to announce that Sacred Art of Living Community will be partnering with the Maybelle Clark Charitable Foundation to provide these heroic members of our communities with much needed support. MCF has approved a matching grant to provide care providers with free subscriptions to our Soul & Science virtual education resource. Soul & Science for Caregivers is a first-of-its-kind online encyclopedia of video teachings and best practices for self care and enhanced wellbeing. SALC’s intention is to provide a free two-year Soul & Science subscription for up to 20 small to medium-sized health care organizations who normally could not afford this resource.
To qualify for the Maybelle Clark matching grant, SALC must raise at least $10,000 this summer through new or increased donations of $100. SALC’s Caregiver Support Initiative will support hundreds of our valuable community caregivers at this critical time in our history. The quality of life for one of our most vulnerable populations is at stake. Offering frontline essential workers access to Soul & Science is our way of saying thank you for the sacrifices they have made over the last two years. By contributing to this special Caregiver Support Initiative you will express your gratitude to those who have given much of themselves during these challenging times. Volunteers Needed!
Another way to support SALC is to donate your time. We are so grateful to the army of volunteers that make our work possible. We truly couldn’t do it without them. If you are interested in helping at our Center in Bend, Oregon, or assist us at the workshops in your area, please call 451-383-4179, and we will coordinate all the details.
