Art of Living and Dying - Module 2: "Diagnosing Spiritual Pain"

The Art of Living & Dying is more about living than about the end of life. This series of four internationally acclaimed workshop/retreats - called program modules - draws from the wisdom of our ancestors that the quality of life is enhanced when we do not live in fear or denial of suffering and our mortality. The results of facing or "leaning into" existential-spiritual pain are profound for both caregivers and care receivers.

Each program module is an interactive and inspirational learning experience appropriate both for professionals and family caregivers. Participants explore universal patterns of spiritual and emotional suffering with time-tested ways to relieve them. All programs are a creative blend of best practices, instruction, personal reflection, hands-on experience, multimedia presentations and creative rituals from the world's great wisdom traditions.

Art of Living & Dying modules consist of an online workshop followed by three monthly Circles of Trust© (small group meetings) between modules. Each Circle of Trust© session is 90 minutes followed by recommendations for a personal best practice based on the life circumstances of each participant.

Friday, 17 January—12-3pm/Saturday 18 January—9am-4pm Pacific Time

US $150 per module; Certification by Sacred Art of Living Institute upon completion of series

CONTACT HOURS: 9.5 hours per module workshop + 3 Circle of Trust© meetings @ 1.5 hours each = 14 hours per module or $10.70 per contact hour

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS
