Developed by Ignatius of Loyola\, a 16th century Spanish mystic\, whose Spiritual Exercises grew out of the ‘ornament of the world\,’ a time on the Iberian Peninsula that creatively drew from the wisdom of Christianity\, Judaism\, and Islam.
