Caregiving is a universal experience for human beings, not just professional health caregivers. As we encounter suffering within our family systems, including aging parents, co-workers, and friends, how do we tend to our soul? Being with the pain of others does not have to lead to burnout and compassion fatigue. The spirituality of caregiving brings together both the soul and science of what it means to care for others.
