Mary
and Richard Groves, JCL, MA, MDiv. are co-founders
of the Sacred Art of Living Center and internationally
respected teachers of the sacred art of dying. Together,
Richard and Mary bring more than sixty years of education,
chaplaincy and pastoral counseling experience to The
Anamcara Project. Richard is the creator of the Sacred
Art of Living and Dying series and Mary offers her
dynamic skills as a ritual master and grief educator.

and Asia with invitations that include Australia and

Keren
Abrams, MA is an ordained “omanaya”
or jewish ritual artist, as well as a performing artist.
Ms. Abrams currently teaches workshops and officiates
for both Jewish and non-denominational life-cycle
rituals and prayer gatherings. She teaches through
a variety of embodied consciousness practices including
yoga, authentic movement and is skillful in vocal
arts and percussion music. Keren travels extensively,
participating in both ritual and arts in Africa, Indonesia
and the Middle East; she is a student of Rabbi Zalman
Schachter-Shalomi. |

Michael
Kearney, MD, FRCPI has over twenty five years
experience in Internal and Palliative Medicine. He
has trained at St. Christopher’s Hospice in
London and served as medical director of Our Lady’s
Hospice, Dublin. Michael is an internationally respected
lecturer and author. In Montreal, he worked with Dr.
Balfour Mount as Visiting Professor at McGill Medical
School. He is currently based in Santa Barbara helping
to establish a hospital-based palliative care program.
Dr. Kearney is a permanent faculty member and medical
director of The Anamcara

Dolores
Krieger, PhD, RN is a professor emerita of
Nursing Science, New York University and co-creator
of Therapeutic Touch. Dr. Krieger’s work has
been credited with being the first healing method
taught within a university system and the most hands-on
healing practice to date. She created five graduate
programs in nursing science in over 90 countries and
has presented more than 400 professional papers and
journal articles. Dolores is the author of twelve
books. At last count, her theory and practice of Therapeutic
Touch has been taught to well over 250,000 health
care professionals throughout the world. |

Stan
Tomandl and Ann Jacob, MA, MSW are Process
Work therapists, researchers and instructors who specialize
in working with people experiencing near death states,
memory loss, dementia, traumatic brain injury and
coma. They work as colleagues and under the mentorship
with Drs. Arnie and Amy Mindell of the Process Institute
of Zurich and Portland, Oregon. Stan and Ann have
extensive background in hospice and acute care settings
both in their home of Vancouver, British Columbia

Christina
Tourin is a second generation harpist, who
began playing harp at the age of four. She received
Music and Education degrees from the University of
Vermont and also studied harp at the Mozarteum in
Salzburg, Austria and at McGill University in Montreal.
She is an active workshop organizer and has been instrumental
in the revival of the folk harp since the early 1970's.
In 1982 she founded the Scottish Harp Society of America
and is also the Director of the Int'l Harp Therapy
Program. Her latest book is: Cradle of Sound, a comprehensive
harp therapy manual.

Radhule Weininger, MD, PhD is a
physician and licensed clinical psychologist educated
in Germany and Austria. She is also a long term
student of dream work with twenty five years of
experience in Vipassana and Zen Buddhist meditation.
Radhule creatively brings together her passion for
spiritual practice and mental health. She and Michael
Kearney are married and live in Santa Barbara, California.
