O’Donohue, PhD, is a popular Irish
poet, scholar, philosopher and theologian. His work
Anamcara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom has been formational
in the work and vision of The Anamcara Project. John’s
insights into Celtic spirituality include the universal
themes of friendship, solitude, love and death. He
lectures and conducts retreats and workshops throughout
Europe and the United States and is currently writing
a post-doctoral work on the mysticism of Meister Eckhart.

Ira
Byock, MD, is a leading palliative care physician
and long-time advocate for improving care through
the end of life. Ira is also an outstanding teacher
whose stories move the heart and the soul. His book,
The Four Things That Matter Most is a book about living
that draws from the lessons of the terminally ill.
He is the first president of the American Academy
of Palliative Medicine and is a faculty member at
the Dartmouth Hitchcock School of Medicine in Hanover,

Richard
Rohr, OFM, MA, is a Franciscan priest , world
renowned spiritual teacher and founding director of
the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. Richard is best known for his many audio
recorded teaching series on a wide range of topics
that include Scripture, Social Justice, the Enneagram
and Male Spirituality. Richard is the spiritual mentor
of Sacred Art of Living Center and a voice of advocacy
for the ongoing spiritual reformation of our social

Rabbi
Nadya Gross, MA, and her husband, Rabbi Victor
Gross are co-founders of the Pardes Levavot Congregation
in Boulder Colorado and are deeply committed to the
creation of conscious spiritual community. Reb Nadya
is a Jewish Renewal Rabbi who has worked extensively
in the training and education of spiritual directors.
She has recently created a program called the End-of-Life
Doula Association to train volunteers in providing
end-of-life spiritual support for families where someone
is dying. |

Balfour
Mount, MD, F.R.C.S.C., is one of the founding
pioneers of the international palliative care movement
and colleague of Dame Cicely Saunders. His groundbreaking
work in Canada includes: Director of the Royal Victoria
Hospital Palliative Care Center and the McGill University
Program in Integrated Whole Person Care. Bal is also
the founder and creative genius behind the Biennial
International Congress on Care of the Terminally Ill.
He is an international lecturer, author of 150 publications
and producer of twenty five teaching films. Bal is
also a recipient of the American Academy of Hospice
and Palliative Medicine “Lifetime Achievement
Award” and is an Officer of the Order of Canada
and the Order of Quebec. |

Christina
Tourin is a second generation harpist, who
began playing harp at the age of four. She received
Music and Education degrees from the University of
Vermont and also studied harp at the Mozarteum in
Salzburg, Austria and at McGill University in Montreal.
She is an active workshop organizer and has been instrumental
in the revival of the folk harp since the early 1970's.
In 1982 she founded the Scottish Harp Society of America
and is also the Director of the Int'l Harp Therapy
Program. Her latest book is: Cradle of Sound, a comprehensive
harp therapy manual.
